Today, I would like to cover another set of 4 questions on Neighbours and Neighbourhood topic. In addition to this, I would like to cover yesterday’s question about problems with neighbours.
Neighbours and Neighbourhood
Is it easy for you to relocate to some other place?
Answer: As far as shifting to another area is concerned, I guess it’s a bit difficult as I am living here in this vicinity since 1985 and I have lots of friends in my neighbourhood. Moreover, my home is centrally located to many popular places such as Water Park, library and even metro.
Do you think it is better to live in the centre of town or outside in the country? Why?
Answer: That depends. If a person is working in a city, s/he would prefer to stay near to their work as commutation is a major concern for many people in the cities due to traffic congestion problem. On the contrary, if we talk about some elderly people who is retired and would like to live a peaceful life, they may prefer to stay countryside.
How well do you know your next-door neighbours?
Answer: As I am living in my house for more than 3 decades, I know maximum of my neighbours very well. We meet in the evening daily and sometimes my family travels with my next-door neighbour in the holidays.
How often do you see them?
Answer: As I said before, we usually meet daily in the park. Apart from this, we also sit for meals together once in a blue moon. We also celebrate all festivals together with great pomp and show.
What problems do people sometimes have with their neighbours?
Answer: Nowadays, some people do have problems with their neighbours. We have read in the newspaper a lot that people fight with each other generally for the parking lots for their private vehicles. However, these sorts of problems don’t exist in our neighbourhood.
